Terms and Conditions for Waterdrop Trade-In Program
Effective Date of Current Policy: August 12, 2024
1. Eligibility
1.1. The Waterdrop Trade-In Program is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old.

1.2. Only specific Waterdrop RO systems and other brand RO systems are eligible for trade-in. Please refer to the list of eligible models on our website.
2. Trade-In Value
2.1. Trade-in values are determined based on the condition and model of the device you are trading in. The final trade-in value will be confirmed after we receive and evaluate your submission.

2.2. Trade-in values are subject to change and are only valid for a specified period as indicated in your trade-in offer. Any changes in trade-in values will be sent to you via email.

2.3. The trade-in value can only be applied towards the purchase of a new Waterdrop X12 or X16 Reverse Osmosis System and cannot be redeemed for cash.

2.4. The trade-in value can only be issued as a refund after you have successfully purchased a new Waterdrop X12 or X16 Reverse Osmosis System through the official Waterdrop website. Purchases made through other platforms are not eligible for trade-in refunds.
3. Process
3.1. To participate, complete the online questionnaire and submit photos or a video of your current device to receive an estimated trade-in value.

3.2. Upon accepting the estimated value, you will receive further instructions via email.

3.3. After evaluating your submission, our team will provide you with the next steps via email.

3.4. The final trade-in value will be issued within 1-2 weeks after you have purchased a new X12 or X16 Reverse Osmosis System. Notification will be sent to you via email.
4. Shipping
4.1. As returning the old device is no longer required, no shipping is necessary for trade-in.
5. Refund
5.1. The trade-in value will be refunded to your original payment method after you purchase a new X12 or X16 Reverse Osmosis System using the trade-in value.

5.2. Refunds will only be processed after we have verified and confirmed the details of your trade-in request.
6. Cancellation
6.1. You may cancel your trade-in request at any time within one month of submission. Please contact our customer service team at service@waterdropfilter.com to request a cancellation.
7. Device Condition
7.1. Devices must be described accurately during the trade-in questionnaire.

7.2. If the condition of the device does not match the description provided, the trade-in value may be adjusted accordingly.
8. Ownership
8.1. By participating in the trade-in program, you certify that you are the legal owner of the device.
9. Privacy
9.1. Any personal data collected during the trade-in process will be used in accordance with Waterdrop's Privacy Policy and Terms of service. By submitting your email, you agree to receive updates and marketing materials from Waterdrop.

9.2. By submitting photos or videos for trade-in evaluation, you grant Waterdrop the right to use these materials for processing your trade-in and for marketing purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. Waterdrop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the trade-in program.

10.2. Waterdrop's liability in connection with the trade-in program is limited to the trade-in value of the device.
11. Changes to the Program
11.1. Waterdrop reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Trade-In Program at any time. Any changes to the program will be communicated to you via email.

11.2. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be posted on the Waterdrop website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
12. Final Interpretation Right
12.1. Waterdrop reserves the right of final interpretation of these terms and conditions.
